Not the World's Way

"Let the world go its own way on the family. It appears to be determined to do that. But we do not have that option. Our doctrines and teachings on the family are very, very powerful, and they are full of implications for all the people on this planet."

Fences...

This week in class we learned about boundaries. There are rigid boundaries, like a brick wall, they don't invite people in. There are diffuse boundaries, that are like fence posts without a fence, letting people run through your space. The kind of boundaries that we want are clear boundaries, like picket fences, picket fences clearly define your space, yet are inviting and welcoming.
We all know people who don't let anyone in. We all also know people who let themselves in too far. Establish correct boundaries in your relationships, and it will lead to greater happiness.
