Not the World's Way

"Let the world go its own way on the family. It appears to be determined to do that. But we do not have that option. Our doctrines and teachings on the family are very, very powerful, and they are full of implications for all the people on this planet."

Why my blog?

I am in a class about Family Relations at BYU-Idaho, and one of our assignments is to blog about what we learn. I am really excited. I chose my blog's name and url from one of my favorite songs, I'd like to Teach the World to Sing,  by Lea Salonga.

"I'd like to build the world a home
And furnish it with love
Grow apple trees and honey bees
And snow-white turtle doves

I'd like to teach the world to sing
In perfect harmony
I'd like to hold it in my arms
And keep it company."

I wish that I really could build the world a safe, loving home, and make sure everyone has company... I think that my family is in a big way my home. I'm very excited to learn how to help my loved ones feel more at home.
